Perfect foundation

So I have been noticing lately in a couple of big block buster films that they are having trouble with the foundation.  Here is something that I figured out early on about foundation.  If you have a red complexion, it will be difficult for you to find a foundation that is a perfect fit.  Let's face it, it is difficult for most of us to find a perfect fit straight off the shelf.  Find another colour that is red-ish and add a little bit to the one that is the closest fit to your shade.  This way you can knock down the red without completely trying to eradicate it.  If you did knock out the red completely, you would look like you were wearing a mask and it wouldn't match your neck or decolletage at all.

Old Stuff

This is a good time to go through all of your makeup and toss out the old stuff.  If it is creme or if it is mascara and it has been with you this year, get rid of it and allow yourself get some new.  You deserve it.

Lips

Just wanted to say that now that the weather is tuning colder and you have to remember your scarf and coat and umbrella, don't forget to bring along your lip conditioner.  There is nothing worse than a dry, cracky lip to take people's attention from what you are saying.  One of my fav's is Melaleuca Sun Shades in Vanilla Bean flavor.  Let's see those lush lips!

Haloween

So be careful when doing makeup for your party, as some kinds stain.  You wouldn't want to go around for a week or so with yellow lips!

liner under your eye

If you have blonde hair, you might want to think twice about liner your under eye with a strong, sharp black line, especially if you are over the age of 18.  This can make your eyes shrink and look hard and harsh.  Try a soft brown just as a shadow, not as a line.  You might like the results.
